Han pasado 3 años desde el clamor mundial en exigencia de justicia ante el vil crimen contra nuestra hermana Berta Cáceres. A 3 años de su siembra que ha multiplicado la lucha contra el proyecto de saqueo, muerte y violencia que impone el modelo extractivo articulado al proyecto represivo impuesto en nuestro país, nos conmemoramos a mantener vivo el espíritu rebelde de nuestra hermana.
En esta oportunidad dedicaremos nuestro encuentro a profundizar en el pensamiento y lucha de nuestra Coordinadora General, Berta Cáceres, acercarnos a su esencia. También será un momento para compartir la estrategia de búsqueda de justicia ante un crimen que sigue impune sin tocar a quiénes pagaron y planificaron su muerte y traer la luz y la fuerza espiritual de nuestra hermana.
Invitamos a los pueblos del mundo que se han mantenido hermanados en repudiar el crimen y acompañando contundentemente la lucha del pueblo Lenca y del pueblo hondureño a acompañarnos en esta jornada que sin duda será de resistencia ante la impunidad y por la vida digna de los pueblos.

Three years after she was sowed – Her struggle and ideals passed on to humanity.
Three years have passed since the shocking and vicious crime against our sister Berta Cáceres. Three years have passed since the world began their cry for justice.
Three years after her sowing, the struggle against repressive projects that have been imposed in Honduras through the extractive model – which plunder, kill and provoke violence – has multiplied. We will commemorate to keep the rebellious spirit of our sister alive.
We will dedicate our gathering to deepening our understanding of Berta’s ideals and struggle, moving us closer to her essence. And, because the crime remains in impunity and those responsible for planning and paying for her murder still haven’t been touched, it will also be a time to share the strategy for the search for justice. It will be a time to bring forth our sister’s light and spiritual strength.
We invite Peoples of the world who have remained united in condemning the crime and who have emphatically accompanied the struggle of the Lenca and Honduran People to join us in this gathering, that will no doubt be of resistance in face of impunity and for a life of dignity for all Peoples.
